A life of Portion CONTROL for a week!

YOU HEARD IT RIGHT!! I am all about it and it is HOW AND WHAT I TEACH MY CLIENTS!

This is how I live still and how I managed to LOSE 85 lbs then 50 lbs and then 15lbs after each of my pregnancies.

I don't eliminate foods because honestly the minute you tell me not to eat something I then can only think of that one food all da and all night untilI end up devouring it!

Anyone else feel this way??

I love food! I always have and always will. This made me always hold onto an extra 20 pounds even before birthing 2 sets of twins in 2 years. My weight fluctuated basically on if I was going to starve myself that week or kill myself at the gym. Or if I was just gonna quit it all and binge for weeks. I would be up 10 then down 10..up 15 then down ...it was a constant juggle in my life. It was always on my mind...DIETING.. always! I was ruled by food and it was not pretty. I felt a sense of control over it because nothing else in my life seemed controlled at all. I felt like if I could control my weight at least that was something. When, in fact, my weight and food was controlling me!

Anyone else feel this way??

I would be super edgy on days I binged and over happy on days I could be discipline. I would go ALL in on a fat free or sugar free or carb free or whatever the latest trend was, I would go ALL in for a week or maybe even two, then I would be sick of it and go completely over board on the foods I was depriving myself of for weeks and weeks.

That was my life. My wacky life of FOOD being front and center. Until, one day I had twin boys and had no time to think about FOOD and the latest FAD any longer. I had to find a way to feed my body and feel good while doing it. It was no longer about me or my skinny jeans. It was about producing milk and recovering and healing tummy with stitches from a c section. It was about finding time to eat and food that my body needed and craved in a limited time. I needed to feel good and not weak. I started moving and loving my body for what it had done for me. Gave me kids! 4 of them in 2 years.

I have continued this method of learning to eat food that my body loves and needs and learning to LOVE to eat. I have started learning and eating to LIVE not LIVING TO EAT.
