Nutty Seed Bread (Good Carbs and Delicious!)
I know this seems like a lot of ingredients but it is well worth it! Once you start making it a habit to cook for health these ingredients will always be stocked at your home! Try something new today!
Lower carb and a great snack or breakfast for you and the kids!
I topped mine with almond butter, so good!
You will need:
1 ripe banana
½ C Applesauce
¼ C Coconut sugar
¼ C Peanut or Almond butter
2 C Carbquick (or almond flour)
½ tsp Baking soda
Dash of cinnamon
¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
½ C Hemp seeds (or whatever seeds you have on hand)
½ C Cashews
½ C Walnuts
½ Almonds ( I used slivered)
Coconut sugar and peanut/almond butter
Add in nuts and seeds gently by folding in
In separate dish stir together
Carbquik and baking soda with a dash of cinnamon
NOW mix the dry into the wet
Separate in 2 loaf pans that are sprayed with nonstick spray
Bake at 375 for about 20-25 minutes but just watch it until seems golden and done
I store in fridge and I literally snack on this all the time and so do the kids!
I even made this recipe into cookies they loved!!
